These few pointers should help you complete the game (well they did with us anyway - especially the location maps)
Kitten Locations
Mini Games
- The Mini-games location map.
- Bizarro Mini Games: to easily beat these keep press and hold X while in the proximity of cars (the more the merrier for bigger muliplier/combo scores). You should be able to rack up huge scores easily repeating this move.
General Gameplay
- The infamous “Blimp Mission“: There are 2 types of dragon type things. Ones that breathe fire and the other breathes ice. The ones that breathe fire can be destroyed quickly by blasting them with ice then smaking them quickly after. Simularly with the ones that breathe ice, but hit them with fire first instead. Should only take 2 hits on each one tops. Which means that you should be able to stop them quickly. Good luck.
- The kill multiple man: don’t make any physical contact with him, else he multiples. Use the ice storm and quickly switch to heat vision soon after.
Other Achievements
- To lift 10,000 tons (roughly 22 million lbs): start a new game and play until you get to the Warlord level. Keep lifting the round sky boxes (heaviest item in the game @ 66,000 lbs) . If run out of sky boxes to lift simply restart the objective (your stats will save) , rinse and repeat.
- For the Frequent Flyer achievement: Make sure you are using a wired controller (wireless controllers shut down after 20 minutes doing this method) and fly superman up high into the sky above metropolis. Face him in any direction. Tape the RB button down and he will fly back and forth all day long (once he hits the edge of the environment he automatically turns around and flys in the opposite direction. This way he’ll cover around 800 miles per hour, depending on where superman faces. If you haven’t already got the “greatest Day” achievement, this one will unlock too. We didn't actually do this achievement because we thought of better things we could be doing on the xbox, but for those achievementholics out there, its easy just time consuming.
- This is another achievement we haven't bothered with, mainly because it has no gamerpoints. To use cheats: Cheats are NOT entered at the start menu as pretty much every site describes. They are entered on the screen after where you can choose between the fortress of solitude and metropolis. There will be an explosion once you enter the correct key combination.
- Hero of Metropolis: you need 100% game completion. You need to have completed all Bizarro games (5 in total), all Fast Flyer Missions (9 in total) AND found all 100 kittens- aswell as completed the main story.
